Mylan Loperamide 2 mg contain diarrhea stopper hydrochloride. That is a substance that reduces too strong propelled movements of the intestines. This means that it only works where it is needed, namely in the intestine.
Use against acute or chronic diarrhea, if it is not possible to determine the cause of the diarrhea.

Adults and children of 8-17 years
Starting with 2 capsules (4 mg) in adults and 1 capsule (2 mg) in children, followed by 1 capsule (2 mg) after each thin relief (with minimum intervals of 2 hours).
Starting with 2 capsules (4 mg) per day for adults and 1 capsule (2 mg) per day for children. This dose should be adjusted until 1 to 2 fixed reliefs per day are obtained.
This is typically achieved with 1-6 capsules (2-12 mg) per day.
The maximum dose for acute and chronic diarrhea in adults is 8 capsules (16 mg) per day.
In children is the maximum dose depending on the body weight (3 capsules per 20 kg), do need exceed 8 capsules per day.

Do not use in:
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) are loperamide or 1 of the other components of the capsule.
- in the event of persistent abdominal pain, when there is blood in the stool and high fever (acute dysentery);
- in acute intestinal infection caused by ingestion of certain strong acting antibiotics (broad spectrum antibiotics);
- children under the age of 8 year.
