Quinoa couscous with chicken breast

A delicious and simple to prepare international main dish with quinoa for 4 people. To prepare this recipe, you need:
  • - 275 gram quinoa (available in our online store)
  • - 1 red union (chopped)
  • - 250 grams of carrots (in slices)
  • - 1 bak of spinach (300 grams)
  • - 300 grams of chicken breast (in slices)
  • - 3 spoons of raisins (available in our online store)
  • - 2 spoons pine nuts (available in our online store)
  • - 4 spoons olive oil (available in our online store)

Prepare quinoa couscous

  1. Cook the quinoa according to package directions (about 10-15 minutes)
  2. Roster in the meantime the pine nuts 3 minutes in a frying pan without oil or butter
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large frying pan over medium heat and fry the onion and carrots 10 minutes
  4. Take the pan, heat 2 tablespoons oil in the same pan and brown/bake the chicken in 5 minutes.
  5. Add the onion, carrots, raisins and spinach in parts and cook together for about 2 minutes.
  6. Add the quinoa and and wait until the spinach has shrunken somewhat.
  7. Season with salt and pepper and add the pine nuts to the mixture.

Tip! Replace the chicken breast for small prawns in this quinoa recipe for some diversity!

Quinoa á la Italiano

Very simple, delicious and ready in a Flash! The required ingredients for two persons are:
  • - 150 grams of quinoa (available in our online store)
  • - 100 grams of Parma ham
  • - Pieces of fresh Parmesan cheese
  • - Handful of fresh basil/Arugula Salad

Preparation quinoa á la Italiano

  1. Cook the quinoa according to package directions (about 10-15 minutes)
  2. Cook in a frying pan hole the Parma ham crisp
  3. Tear the basil leaves into small pieces
  4. Drain the quinoa and do it in a bowl.
  5. Season with pepper, salt and olive oil
  6. Then stir in the Basil and Parma ham through it.
  7. Divide for two persons and to make it absolutely delicious, grate some Parmesan cheese over the dish.





Tip! Fisnish it with some roasted pine nuts for a crispy bite!
